Popocatepetl volcano in the Mexican state of Puebla has reactivated.
3 eruptions, 112 times of gas and ash output were recorded in the volcano in one day.
Mexico’s National Center for Disaster Prevention stated that the ash spread to the west and northwest directions with the effect of the wind.
He warned the residents of the region by expressing that light and moderate ash precipitation may be seen in the settlements.
Popocatepetl, the second highest mountain in Mexico, has seen an increase in activities for the last 2 years.
The number of eruptions recorded in the volcano since the beginning of the year increased to 608 with the latest eruptions.
