In the statement, it was noted that TikTok drags the user into the virtual world consisting of short clips, and after watching these, some of them try to repeat certain life-threatening videos, and it was noted that such addictive content negatively affects the emotional state of the younger generation.
In the statement, it was stated that the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy took the decision to ban TikTok in the country, taking into account the numerous objections and based on the inspections, and that the Ministry of Digital Development was applied for the implementation of the decision.
Emphasizing that the decision to ban TikTok in the country does not have any geopolitical purpose, it was reminded that the decision to stop TikTok was taken to protect children from information that could negatively affect their moral education and harm their psychological health.
