UAE has sent 226 aircraft relief supplies to Turkey and Syria so far

In the written statement made on the Twitter account of the UAE Ministry of Defense, information was given about the “Yiğit Süvari 2” operation, which was launched to support those damaged by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, upon the instruction of the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on 7 February.

Pointing out that the aid operation continues, it was stated in the statement that a total of 7,249 tons of aid has been delivered to Turkey and Syria by 226 planes so far.

The country’s official agency, WAM, reported on March 7 that “the UAE aid has continued uninterruptedly for 30 days to the earthquake victims in Syria.” In the news, it was stated that a total of 4,925 tons of food and medical supplies have been delivered to Syria by 151 cargo planes.
