Reznikov, speaking to reporters, discussed the issue of supplying F-16 aircraft to Ukraine.
Stating that infrastructure preparation should be done for F-16 aircraft to be able to maintain, repair and perform combat duties, Reznikov noted that engineers and technicians should be trained as well as pilots, and that this is a serious and comprehensive task.
Reznikov stated that training and work continues for the first F-16s to fly over the Ukrainian skies, and that the first F-16s are expected to be delivered after a minimum of 6-7 months.
In addition, Reznikov emphasized that the Ukrainian pilots could be ready in 6 months.
The Netherlands announced that they would supply 42 and Denmark 19 F-16s to Ukraine.
