Ukraine: We have nothing to do with sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline

Reznikov, at the informal meeting of the defense ministers of the European Union (EU) countries in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, made a statement regarding the allegations in the news in the US and German press that the sabotage of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline was organized by pro-Ukrainian groups.

Minister Reznikov said, “For me, this is a strange story that has nothing to do with us. I think the official investigation will reveal all the details. “It’s like a compliment for our intelligence, but these are not our actions,” he said.

The New York Times newspaper announced that it had received intelligence that a pro-Ukrainian group was responsible for the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines carrying Russian gas to Europe in September last year.

In the news of the public broadcaster ARD and Zeit newspaper in Germany, it was claimed that a pro-Ukrainian group may have organized the sabotage against Nord Stream.

The sabotage in September last year caused great damage to the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines connecting Russia and Germany via the Baltic Sea.
