UNICEF Turkey Representative Regina De Dominicis pointed out that international aid should be increased in order to prevent the long-term effects of children and their families after the earthquake.
Dominicis reported that UNICEF Turkey appealed for an additional $138 million in aid.
Pointing out that it is urgent to help children and families in the region recover and rebuild their lives after the earthquake, Dominicis stated that it is important to prioritize this group.
