US condemns attack on Indian Consulate in San Francisco

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, in his post on Twitter, said, “We condemn the acts of violence against the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. We are closely concerned with the safety and security of these service buildings and the diplomats working in them. The US Department of State, the local police for the steps to be taken in this regard. He is in contact with the organization,” he said.

San Francisco police officials reported that as a result of the attacks on the consulate of India in this city on Sunday, some of the windows of the building were broken and some of the staff were injured. While it was stated that the suspects on the subject fled, it was claimed that the attackers were Sikh protesters.

White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby also stated at today’s press conference that the attacks on diplomatic areas are unacceptable and expressed their condemnation of the action in question.
