US President Joe Biden attended a ceremony at the White House today after his wife Jill Biden tested positive for the coronavirus.
Biden, who presented Captain Larry L. Taylor with the Medal of Honor for his bravery, wore a mask at the ceremony.
White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said: “President Biden’s coronavirus tests yesterday and today were negative and show no signs of the disease. President Joe Biden will wear a mask indoors and near people for a while, as he is with Firs Lady Jill Biden, who tested positive for the corona test yesterday.
In a statement from the White House, it was announced that the US First Lady, 72-year-old Jill Biden, had a positive COVID-19 test and showed mild symptoms.
