Turkish voters in Germany cast their votes in the cities of Aachen, Bremen, Regensburg and Kassel starting from 09:00 local time.
Voters will be able to vote until 1 May in Aachen, Bremen, Regensburg and until 9 May in Kassel.
Hannover Consul General Gül Özge Kaya, who came to Bremen to observe the election process, said, “Today is our third day in Hannover. It has also started at the fairground in Bremen today. Voters have a great interest. Our citizens showed great interest. The main purpose of our preparations in the elections is participation in the elections. “We took measures in this direction. Therefore, we are very pleased with this situation.” he said.
On the other hand, the voting process, which started on April 27 in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Düsseldorf, Münster, Cologne, Essen, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Mainz, Munich and Nuremberg, will continue until 9 May 21:00.
There are 1.5 million Turkish voters in Germany, where around 3 million Turkish citizens live.
Germany is the country with the highest number of Turkish voters abroad.
