The ballot boxes were closed after the voting process, which continued for 3 days at the Turkish Embassy in Baku and the Consulates General in Nakhchivan and Ganja, ended at 22:00 local time.
The ballot papers and envelopes containing the votes cast were put into ballot boxes and sealed under the supervision of ballot box committee members and their observers.
Voting bags were also placed in diplomatic bags and kept at the Embassy. The bags will be taken to Turkey by diplomatic courier.
Turkish voters cast their votes in a total of 15 ballot boxes, 9 in Baku, 3 in Ganja and 3 in Nakhchivan.
In Azerbaijan, there are 11 thousand 43 registered voters, 7 thousand 417 in the Baku Embassy, 2 thousand 277 in the Ganja Consulate and 1349 in the Nakhchivan Consulate.
Turkish voters in Azerbaijan had 60.26 percent turnout in the first round of the election.
