In the audio recording, which is stated to belong to Yevgeniy Prigojin, the founder of Wagner, shared on Telegram channels, the following statements were included:
“Right now we have crossed the border everywhere. Border forces have embraced our fighters. We are entering Rostov right now. Get out of our way soldiers sent by the Ministry of Defense to prevent us. We are not fighting children. Let the soldiers sent by the (Russian) Ministry of Defense to prevent us out of our way. We do not kill children. Children Shoigu, who killed them by throwing them to the front without training. We will destroy anyone who stands in our way. We will go to the end.”
Also in the circulated recordings, the following were recorded:
“The (Russian) Chief of Staff has instructed us to take off the planes and open fire on our convoy going between civilian cars and trucks. For him, it doesn’t matter who he kills. They are killing their own civilians instead of killing the enemy for more than 1.5 years. I thank the pilots who stopped going instead of their criminal actions. “
Wagner’s founder, Yevgeny Prigojin, accused the Russian army of attacking Wagner and threatened to retaliate.
Upon this situation, the Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a criminal case on the charge of “armed riot”.
