Reminding that French civilian security forces came to the region after the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes and participated in the search and rescue efforts, Macron noted that 100 injured people are treated every day in the field hospital established by France in the Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman.

“I confirmed to President Erdogan that we continue to remain fully mobilized and in solidarity,” Macron said.
Noting that they exchanged views with President Erdogan about the war in Ukraine, Macron said, “We must intensify our support to ensure that Ukraine wins. We must continue to increase the pressure on Russia to cause it to abandon the attack.”
