Noting that he hopes the visit will give a new impetus to the intensification of the mutually beneficial dialogue, Zelenskiy said, “Thank you for supporting peace, sovereignty and territorial integrity in Ukraine. This is very important for us and our society.”
400 million dollar aid package to Ukraine
On the other hand, Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced on social media that Saudi Arabia will provide 400 million dollars in aid to Ukraine.
Yermak made the following statements in his post:
“During the (Minister Ferhan’s) visit, two documents were signed formalizing the provision of a total of $400 million aid package to Ukraine, $100 million in humanitarian aid and $300 million in petroleum products.”
Ukraine dismisses Joint Forces Commander Moskalev
In the written statement on the official website of the Presidency of Ukraine, it was stated that with the decree numbered 113/2023, the Joint Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Eduard Moskalev, was dismissed.
The decree did not specify who would replace Moskalev.
