Zelensky’s instruction to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative without Russia

Zelenskiy’s Press Spokesperson, Sergey Nikiforov, shared some of Zelenskiy’s statements regarding Russia’s withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Corridor Agreement during his interview with African journalists on his social media account.

Stating that there are 2 agreements regarding the Black Sea Grain Initiative, one between Ukraine, Turkey, the UN, and the other between Russia, Turkey and the UN, Zelenskiy said, “Therefore, when Russia said that it stopped (the agreement), UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and President (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan It’s breaking the agreement. Not with us. We have no agreement with them.” said.

Zelenskiy also said, “I have instructed our Foreign Ministry to prepare our official signals to the UN and Turkey, following the official signal from Russia, to respond to me as President of Ukraine that they are ready to continue our initiative.” used the phrase.

Underlining that they have to do everything to use the Black Sea corridor even without Russia, Zelenskiy said, “We are not afraid. Ship-owning companies have reached us. They said they are ready to continue their grain supply if Ukraine sends them and Turkey allows their passage.” he said.
